# Agent Builder

> Connect Strata with OpenAI's Agent Builder in minutes and unlock powerful workflow automation

## Quick Setup Guide

**1. Authorize MCP Servers to Use with Strata**

Navigate to the [Klavis home page](https://www.klavis.ai/home) and click **"MCP Server"** in the left sidebar. You will see a list of MCP servers available in Klavis.

Click the **"Authorize"** button next to your chosen server. Once server is authorized, you will see **Green Checkmark** status.

**2. Get Strata Server URL**

From Klavis Dashboard, click **"Add to Other Clients"** button to get your Strata Server URL.

## Build AI Workflow using Strata

**1. Launch Your First Workflow in Agent Builder**

Navigate to the [OpenAI Platform](https://platform.openai.com/) and select **"Agent Builder"** from the menu. Click **"+ Create"** to start building your custom chat agent with advanced logic and integrated tools.

**2. Set Up Your Trigger Node**

When you create a new workflow, the **'Start'** node will already be present on your canvas. This foundational node defines your workflow inputs through the `input_as_texts` variable.

**3. Integrate Strata with Your AI Agents**

Drag the **"Agents"** node from the core nodes section onto your canvas. Configure it with the following settings:

**Basic Configuration:**

* **Name:** Strata (recommended)
* **Instructions:** You are a helpful assistant.
* **Tools:** Select **"MCP Server"**

**MCP Server Details:**

1. **URL:** Paste your Strata URL from Step 2
2. **Label:** `strata`
3. **Description:** Strata by Klavis AI *(optional)*
4. **Authentication:** Select **"None"**
5. **Approval:** Select **"Never"**

**4. Add the End Node**

Drag and drop the **"End"** node to stop the execution of your workflow diagram.

Above is the fnal workflow configuration consisting Strata as a agent.

**5. Start Using Strata in Agent Builder**

To run your Strata Agent, click **"Run"** from the top menu.
